We have two motorcycles, Jesse, which is a 1967 Triumph, that is currently living in the studio and Olga, which is a beautiful 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster, which we use for trips and to get around town.

I never thought I'd like motorcycle riding. When people used to talk about them, I always thought it was boring or too exciting for me, I imagined the experience to be like an extra scary roller coaster, however, it really isn't - I was and still surprised at how calming and beautiful the experience of going study on the road, looking at the view and feeling the wind and think and take pictures is.

We went on a journy to Lebanin Valley NY to watch and take picture of a drag race, I've never seen a car race of any kind before and I was not sure i'm going to like it, usually, cars are not something I find very interesting. However it was a cool ride and a very interesting event - especially being exposed to a very different community who are all obsessive about cars, speed and racing. The most interesting and wonderful part of this experience was realising how, though this is a competative sport, people were very into helping one another and just enjoying themselves.

For Ned's 40th Birthday, we decided to take a long trip and took the bike out for two whole weeks, we wet down the Appalachian mountain range till we got to the great smoky mountain and then cut to the north Carolina ocean line and went back home by the coast.
It was an amazing experience and I hope to do another long trip later this summer.
